Set-up: Adjustment with PC
Measuring environment
• Choose “ Measuring environment“.
• Click to “ Measuring range“.
The window “ Measuring range limitation“ is
opened.
• Adjust in the window “ Measuring range
limitation“ the range in which you want to
measure. In general the measuring range
corresponds to the vessel height.
• Click to “ Save“.
• Choose in the window “ Measuring environ-
ment“ the button “Measuring conditions“.
• Adjust in the window “ Measuring conditions“
the appropriate option of your measured
product and confirm with “ OK“.
• Finally chose in the window “ Measuring
environment“ the button “Measured value
correction“.
In the window “ Echo curve“ now the echo
profile of your vessel and probable strong
false echoes are displayed. Use this indication
to improve if necessary the installation position
of your sensor and to remove or reduce prob-
able false echo sources.
• Quit the window “ Echo curve“ by clicking to
“ Quit“.
In the window “ Measured value correction“ the
echoes detected by the radar sensor are
displayed.
• Choose out of the detected echoes, the
echo corresponding to your measuring
distance.
• Quit this menu by entering or choosing your
measuring distance to the measured prod-
uct with “ OK“.
• Quit the window “ Measuring environment“
by clicking to “ Quit“.
You are now again in the menu “ Sensor optimi-
zation“.
Echo curve
In the menu “ Echo curve“ the echo profile of
your measurement is displayed.
• Hence click to “ Echo curve“.
