To create the two port-based VLANs shown in Figure 8 , use the following method.
Virtual ADX(config)# vlan 222 by port
Virtual ADX(config-vlan-222)# untag e 1 to 3
Virtual ADX(config-vlan-222)# vlan 333 by port
Virtual ADX(config-vlan-333)# untag e 1 to 3
Syntax: vlan vlan-id by port
Syntax: untagged ethernet portnum [to portnum | ethernet portnum]
To create a more complex three port-based VLAN configuration using multiple Layer 2 Switches and
IEEE 802.1q VLAN tagging, use the following method:
Virtual ADX(config)# vlan 222 by port
Virtual ADX(config-vlan-222)# untag e 2 to 3
Virtual ADX(config)# vlan 333 by port
Virtual ADX(config-vlan-333)# tag e 1
Virtual ADX(config)# vlan 444 by port
Virtual ADX(config-vlan-444)# tag e 1
Virtual ADX(config)# vlan 555 by port
Virtual ADX(config-vlan-444)# tag e 1
