4. Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with alcohol to wipe off loosened ink deposits from the platen.
CAUTION Do not use commercial cleaners or abrasive cleaners. Do not wet the platen
directly because you will leave too much moisture behind.
5. If there are ink deposits in the vacuum holes on the platen, clean them using commercially-
available 3 mm mini-cotton swabs and then wipe off loosened ink deposits with a mini-cotton swab
slightly dampened with alcohol.
