Configure Your Module
What This Chapter Contains This chapter describes how to configure your Encoder/Counter
modules with RSNetworx.
Configuration Overview You must use the RSNetworx for DeviceNet software to configure
your module. You can configure the module while it is:
• online
or
• offline
This chapter shows configuration in the online mode. Configuration
dialogs appear similar in both modes. The primary difference is that if
you make changes offline, you must go on line before the
configuration changes take effect.
Add the Adapter to Your Network
Follow these steps:
1. Start the RSNetworx for DeviceNet software.
