System Troubleshooting

Issues with the Add-in Card

Is the card installed and configured correctly? Verify the jumper and other

configuration settings.

Are the card cables properly connected?
Is the add-in card recognized in Device Manager?
A card issue not listed here? Refer to troubleshooting information

supplied by the add-in card manufacturer.

Issues with the Integrated Display

Are the display contrast and brightness controls properly adjusted?

Try to correct the issue through auto adjust by pressing and holding the
two display brightness keys for a few seconds. These keys are on the front
panel keypad.

Verify that the selected character color is not the same as the background

color.

Try setting to the native resolution. Refer to Appendix A,

Issues with an External Display

Are the display contrast and brightness controls properly adjusted? Refer

to the operating system containing the video driver for set-up functions.

Verify that the selected character color is not the same as the background

color.

Is the display compatible with the selected video mode?
Is the video cable properly connected?
Is the video driver properly installed?
Restart the computer with the external display connected and turned on.
Is the display functioning properly? Verify display function by operating it

with another computer.
