Working with Automatic Reports
Using IntelliServe’s Automatic Generation feature, you can configure the
parameters for a report template that will automatically generate reports at
specified time intervals and send copies of the report to designated recipients
through e-mail. You can create multiple automatic configurations for each
report type template.
Note: You must possess the Configure Automatic Report Settings
permission to configure an automatic report.
The following sections provide instructions on configuring, modifying, and
deleting automatic reports.
Configuring an Automatic Report
IntelliServe enables you to configure automatic reports by entering the e-mail
addresses of recipients, date, time, and the number of hours you want the
system to wait before automatically generating each subsequent report. Report
recipients do not have to be registered users of IntelliServe.
Configure an automatic report based on an existing report template in the
following way:
1. Select on Reports from the System Menu.
2. Select the type of report you want to be generated automatically.
The Report Templates window displays the report templates generated for the
selected report type.
3. Click on the template for which you want to generate an automatic report
in the Template Name column.
The Configure Report window displays the parameters of the selected report.
