Navigating the Map
The map toolbar buttons above the map view allow you to zoom in and out,
zoom fit, recenter, and jump to specific locations in the map. The map border
also contains directional arrows for moving around the map.
The following sections describe more about the toolbar buttons and directional
arrows.
Map Toolbar
In addition to navigation tools, the Map Display window allows you to view
map coordinates, location details, specific locations, and map layers.
Click on this button and then click and drag over the area you want
to magnify on the map. Release the button and the area will be
magnified.
or
Click on this button and then click on any area of the map to
magnify the map, centered on the clicked position.
or
Click on this button, mouse over the Location button on the map
toolbar, and then click on a location in the drop-down list to
magnify the map, centered in reference to the selected location.
Click on this button and then click on any area of the map to de-
magnify the map, centered on the clicked position.
or
Click on this button, mouse over the Location button on the map
toolbar, and then click on a location in the drop-down list to de-
magnify the map, centered in reference to the selected location.
Click on this button to automatically reload the entire map display.
Click on this button and then click on any area of the map to
redefine the center of the map in reference to the clicked position.
or
Click on this button, mouse over the Location button on the map
toolbar, and then click on a location in the drop-down list to
redefine the center of the map in reference to the selected location.
