RCI Remote Control Interface

The RCI device window includes a selector for choosing an A‑Net Slot to monitor through the RCI’s built‑in

headphone and line‑level output. Click the up/down arrows to scroll through and select Slots from 1‑64 or

Mute. (The actual available Slots are based on the current network sample rate.)

The RCI overview

A radio button in the RCI device overview chooses the RCI/MCS sync mode that determines how audio

is routed to the RCI’s line‑level and headphone monitor output. With

mcs s

YNc

o

N

the RCI follows Slot

selection on the MCS or from the software. When using

mcs s

YNc

o

FF

the user controls the monitor Slot

selection manually from the RCI front panel (or the RCI’s Device Window). When choosing this option,

Slot selections from the MCS are ignored, allowing an important channel to remain in the monitors or

headphones even while the engineer selects and makes changes to other Slots in the network.
