Updating a Device Preset

Once a Device Preset has been saved you can change its settings, rename it, and update it as often as

needed. To update one of the 16 Device Presets with a newer version, select the preset in the Device Preset

panel to highlight it, rename it if necessary, and then click the

s

Ave

button in the Device Preset panel. You

will be prompted to confirm the change before the preset is overwritten.

Confirm the change to an existing preset.

To change only the preset’s name, click the preset’s name field, select and enter any text to be changed,

then press the keyboard

Recalling a Device Preset

To recall a Device Preset that has been saved with the project, first select the preset to highlight it and then

click the

ecAll

button in the Device Preset panel.

For input modules, if there are any Slot activation conflicts caused by the Device Preset recall, a warning

dialog will alert you to the conflict.

Conflict warning

Remember that only one input channel can occupy a network Slot at a time.

Clearing a Device Preset

To remove a Device Preset from the preset panel (which also removes it from the project and from disk),

first select the preset to highlight it and then click the

c

leAr

button in the Device Preset panel.

Clearing a preset requires confirmation.

Confirm the operation by clicking the

Y

es

button. There is no undo. for this action
