Saving a Scene

Scenes are saved to disk within the Project Scenes folder found inside the project folder once a project

has been saved. Scenes can be stored in any of the 99 locations in any order; available Scene locations are

marked

in the Scene Name column.

Clicking in an empty Scene field allows you to enter a name for the Scene.

To save a Scene, place the cursor in the

s

N

Ame

field of an empty Scene location. Once the cursor

changes to the text entry tool, type in a name for the new Scene (16 characters maximum). Press the

e

Nter

key on the PC keyboard.

Click Save to store the Scene.

Confirm the save operation in the dialog box that appears by clicking

ok; the Scene is stored to disk and

is ready to use. Clicking

N

in the Save dialog box will exit and cancel the save operation. To save a Scene

and use the default name (Scene 01, Scene 02, etc.), select an empty Scene row and then click the

button or choose

Adding Scene Notes

Use the Scene Notes field to store text information related to a Scene. Up to 256 characters can be entered.

Once a Scene has been saved, you can enter Scene Notes text at any time. Text can be added to the Scene

file without requiring the Scene to be re‑saved, allowing you to add and edit notes for multiple Scenes

without requiring them to be recalled first. Scene Note text is saved with the project.

To edit existing note text, click in the Scene Notes field for a Scene. When the text cursor appears, select all

or part of the current text to change or delete. Use the Edit menu’s

c

c

commands as

needed. Press the keyboard

e

Nter

key or click in another Scene row to complete the edit. The text is added

to the Scene file without requiring the Scene to be re‑saved. Scenes Notes cannot be added or edited if a

Scene is locked. Remember to save the project after editing Scene Notes.

Use the Escape (

e

Renaming a Scene

Unlocked Scenes can be renamed at any time while a project is open. To change a Scene’s name, click in

the

field for the selected Scene. When the text cursor appears, change the name as needed.

Press the keyboard

name is changed and the Scene file is updated on disk; you do not need to re‑save the Scene with the Save

button to rename a Scene. Save the project after editing Scene names.
