CENTER OF GRAVITY
An important part of preparing the aircraft for fl ight is
properly balancing the model.
1. Attach the wing panels to the fuselage. Make sure to
connect the leads from the aileron to the appropriate leads
from the receiver. Make sure the leads are not exposed
outside the fuselage before tightening the wing bolts. Your
model should be fl ight-ready before balancing.
2. The recommended Center of Gravity (CG) location for your
model is 4
– 4 3 /

inches (102 mm–121 mm) back from the
leading edge of the wing as shown. Mark the location of the
CG on the bottom of the wing.
3. When balancing your model, make sure it is assembled
and ready for fl ight. Support the plane upright at the marks
made on the wing with your fi ngers or a commercially
available balancing stand. This is the correct balance point
for your model.
4. Because of the scale nature of your model, weight will be
necessary to balance this type of model. Place the weight as
far forward inside the airplane as practical. The inside of the
fi berglass cowling works well for this. Verify that it is clean
and free of dust for maximum bond strength of the self-stick
weights (HAN3626) that are available at your local hobby
store.
DER SCHWERPUNKT
Ein sehr wichtiger Teil in der Flugvorbereitung ist es das
Flugzeug richtig auszubalancieren.
1. Montieren Sie Tragfl ächen am Rumpf. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass die Querruderservoanschlüsse in die richtigen Buchsen
am Empfänger gesteckt sind. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine
Kabel zwischen Rumpf und Fläche herausschauen. Das
Modell sollte vor dem Balancieren fl ugfertig ausgerüstet
sein.
2. Der empfohlene Schwerpunkt (CG) des Modells befi ndet
sich 102 - 121 mm von der vorderen Tragfl ächenkante nach
hinten gemessen wie abgebildet. Markieren Sie die Position
auf der Unterseite der Tragfl äche.
3. Das Modell muß bei dem Ausbalancieren fl ugfertig
ausgerüstet sein. Halten Sie das Modell aufrecht auf ihren
Fingerspitzen auf dem markierten Schwerpunkt oder nutzen
Sie dazu eine geeignete Schwerpunktwaage.
4. Aufgrund der Scalenatur des Modells ist es notwendig
zum Ausbalancieren des Modells Gewicht hinzu zugeben.
Positionieren Sie das Gewicht soweit vorne wie praktisch
möglich. Die Innenseite der Motorhaube ist dazu sehr gut
geeignet. Stellen Sie sicher dass diese sauber und staubfrei
ist für einen festen Sitz der selbstklebenden Gewichte
(HAN3626) separat bei ihrem Fachhändler erhältlich.
CENTRE DE GRAVITÉ
Une des étapes importantes de la préparation d’un modèle
est son équilibrage.
1. Fixez les ailes au fuselage. Vérifi ez que les ailerons sont
reliés aux prises appropriées du récepteur. Contrôlez que
les câbles ne dépassent pas du fuselage avant de serrer
les ailes. Votre modèle doit être prêt à voler pour effectuer
l’équilibrage.
2. La position recommandée du Centre de Gravité (CG) pour
votre modèle se situe, comme illustré, entre 102 et 121 mm
en arrière du bord d’attaque de l’aile. Marquez la position du
CG sur le dessous de l’aile.
3. Quand vous équilibrez votre modèle soyez sûr qu’il
est correctement assemblé et en ordre de vol. Soulevez
l’avion au niveau des marques à l’aide de vos doigts ou
d’un équilibreur vendu dans le commerce. C’est le point
d’équilibre correct pour votre modèle.
4. En raison de la nature de l’échelle de votre modèle, il vous
faudra un poids pour équilibrer ce type de modèle. Placer
le poids dans l’avion, le plus loin vers l’avant possible.
L’intérieur du capot en fi bre de verre est un bon endroit
pour cela. Vérifi ez qu’il est propre et totalement exempt de
poussière afi n de garantir une adhérence maximale des
poids auto-adhésifs (HAN3626) que propose votre magasin
local d’articles de loisir.
CENTRO DI GRAVITA’ (BARICENTRO)
Un punto importante per preparare l’aereo al volo è quello di
fare un centraggio corretto.
1. Fissare l’ala alla fusoliera e collegare le prolunghe dei
servi alettoni al relativo canale sul ricevitore. Bisogna
fare attenzione che queste prolunghe non sporgano dalla
fusoliera quando si fi ssa l’ala. Il modello sarebbe pronto al
volo prima del bilanciamento.
2. Il centro di gravità (CG) consigliato, si trova a 102-121
mm dietro al bordo di entrata dell’ala, come si vede dalla
fi gura. Segnare la posizione del CG sulla parte inferiore
dell’ala.
3. Quando si fa il bilanciamento bisogna essere certi che il
modello sia completamente montato e pronto al volo. Tenere
sospeso l’aereo appoggiando le dita o un attrezzo per il
bilanciamento in corrispondenza del punto segnato prima.
Questo è il punto giusto per bilanciare questo modello.
4. Essendo questo un modello in scala, serve del peso per
bilanciarlo. Mettere il peso il più avanti possibile all’interno
della fusoliera. Può andare bene l’interno della capottina
motore, che è in fi bra di vetro. Verifi care che sia ben pulita
e senza polvere, per avere la massima aderenza dei pesi
autoadesivi (HAN3626), disponibili nel vostro negozio di
hobby locale.
