CHAPTER 6 - OPERATING PROCEDURES
A Brief Description of
Chapter 6 All information contained in Chapter 6 pertains to the
operation of the HI 1746-WS Weigh Scale Module.
The Operating Procedures include Writing and Read-
ing data transferred between the ControlLogix PLC
and the weigh scale module. The data is defined as
either Read Data (including Module Status words
indicating the current state of the module) from the
weigh scale module or Write Data sent to the module.
It is very important that the user be familiar with this
chapter before operating the weight scale module.
CAUTION: THE OPERATING PARAMETERS ARE DIF-
FERENT FOR THE LOCAL MODE AND THE
REMOTE MODE. BE SURE YOU LOOK IN THE
CORRECT SECTION FOR THE CORRECT
