Step 5 Install the new power supply ( Figure 5-8 ):
a. Slide the power supply into the bay until it mates with its backplane
connector.
Caution To prevent damage to the power shelf backplane connector, do not use excessive
force when inserting the power supply into the chassis.
b. Close the ejector levers and tighten the captive screws to securely seat the
power supply to the backplane connector.
