10 Low-speed ATM configuration

Step 3

Run:

pvc { pvc-name vpi/vci | vpi/vci }

A PVC is created and the PVC view is displayed.

Step 4

Run:

oam frequency frequency [ up up-count down down-count retry-frequency retry-frequency ]

The sending and retransmission detection of OAM F5 loopback cells is enabled.

up-count should be smaller than that of down-count.

When the link status is not stable and the local PVC needs to sense the status change of the

PVC of the peer end, the OAM F5 Loopback function must be configured on the PVC of the
local end.
