The System Info Tab

The System Info tab displays the board’s current configuration and allows you to
change MAX V register values.

Figure 6–3

shows the System Info tab with the MAX

V highlighted in the photograph.

The following sections describe the controls on the System Info tab.

Power Monitor

Clicking this control starts the Power Monitor application that measures and reports
current power information for the board. Because the application communicates over
the JTAG bus to the MAX V device, you can measure the power of any design in the
FPGA, including your own designs. For more information, refer to

“The Power

Monitor” on page 6–17

.

Board Information

This group control displays static information about your board:

Board Name

—Indicates the official name of the board.
