3.3.7.1

automatically.

Use the following commands to start, stop, status and restart the postgres, radius and SSF
services for future use:

1. /opt/ssf/etc/config/S99RunSSFOnLinuxPC.sh start

2. /opt/ssf/etc/config/S99RunSSFOnLinuxPC.sh stop

3. /opt/ssf/etc/config/S99RunSSFOnLinuxPC.sh status

4. /opt/ssf/etc/config/S99RunSSFOnLinuxPC.sh restart

3.3.7.2

Starting Blade SSF Core to connect to External PC

Starting Blade SSF core initiates the bcsimd services, enabling communication between SSF
and the blade on which blade SSF core is installed. You can monitor, manage, and configure the
Linux standard service using SSF interfaces. It also sets the hostname of the blade depending
upon the shelf ID and slot number. By default the host name is non-configurable. If you want to
change the host name, edit /etc/rc3.d/S99SsfBcsimRun<Blade>.sh file and set
SET_HOST_NAME to “Yes”.
