If we were splitting our video to add a transition between the two segments, we could stop here
and drop our segments down into the Storyboard. See Steps Three - Arranging Clips, and Four
- Adding Effects & Video Adjustments for more information.
For our purposes (scene removal/cutting), it is necessary to split the second segment again,
and isolate the unwanted scene.
To split again, select a segment from the Video Clipboard and it will automatically begin playing
in the Preview Panel.
Locate your split point in the Preview Panel and click the Scissors button (circled in red).
Tip: Use the Pause, Previous Frame, and Next Frame controls (circled in yellow)
to help you locate and make more precise splits. Use the Jump Frame Rate button
between the Previous and Next Frame buttons to change the speed of the frame
buttons.
