540 Gapless Punchout

This setting toggles the gapless punchout feature. Gapless punchout allows underlying audio material to
be heard immediately when a record punchout occurs on a track. This process takes some processing
power, so turning this feature off will allow extra recording bandwidth. Turning off gapless punchout can
be especially useful if a “media too slow” message occurs when recording in non-destructive mode. The
default value for gapless punchout is on.

550 Remote Meter Source

This sets the source of the signals sent to an MMU-16 meter bridge. The default setting is MMR Bus.

§ MMR Bus

Signals are sent over the MMR bus and should go through an MM-RC remote before
being passed on to the MMU-16.

§ Local

Signals are sent directly from the UIB port (remote control port) to an MMU-16 unit.

600 Digital I/O

600 Digital Input Ref Track

This sets the track to be used for the AES digital signal reference clock. The choices are: 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5
& 6, or 7 & 8. The default value is digital inputs 1 & 2.

602 Digital Input Delay

This sets an amount by which incoming digital signals will be delayed. The range for this setting is 1 to
255 samples in 1 sample increments.. The default value is internal (no delay).

610 Digital Output Delay

This sets an amount by which digital output signals will be delayed. The range for this setting is 1 to 255
samples in 1 sample increments. The default value is internal (no delay).

700 Disk

700 Disk Encoding

This sets format used for recording on the MMR-8. This setting is not available for the MMP-16. The
default value is WaveFrame 16-bit. The choices are:

§ WaveFrame 16-bit
§ WaveFrame 24-bit
§ Pro Tools 16-bit
§ Pro Tools 24-bit

701 Record Disk SCSI ID

This sets the SCSI volume ID to which recording will be made. Note that if a track from a different disk
than the one set here is loaded, recordings on that track will be made to the disk from which the track was
loaded. This setting is not available for the MMP-16. The default value is SCSI ID 0.
