Menu 02. Memory Frequency Access Protection
Memory frequencies can be temporary changed by using main dial etc. during the operation.
However, by selecting ACCS-OF here, the memory frequency can’t be changed except by
using RIT/TXIT. This is not a key-lock therefore you can still temporary alter other functions in
memory like output, mode, RF gain etc. even OF is selected.
The [ACCS-ON] appears on the display.

Turn the main dial counterclockwise, the
display changes into the [ACCS-OF] and
the Memory Frequency Access Protection is
changed.

Menu 03. Timer SCAN Setting
Each Scan mode has specifi c condition for stopping and resuming scanning. Select one of the
conditions below for your scan operation.

The current timer scan setting will be
displayed.
You can change the scan condition as below

OFF:
Stops scanning when a signal is picked up, and quits scanning.
0:
Stops scanning when a signal is picked up, and will resume scanning after the signal is gone.
1S:
Stops scanning when a signal is picked up, and will resume scanning after 1 second.
2S:
Stops scanning when a signal is picked up, and will resume scanning after 2 seconds.
3S:
Stops scanning when a signal is picked up, and will resume scanning after 3 seconds.
5S:
Stops scanning when a signal is picked up, and will resume scanning after 5 seconds.
7S:
Stops scanning when a signal is picked up, and will resume scanning after 7 seconds.
10S:
Stops scanning when a signal is picked up, and will resume scanning after 10 seconds.
B0:
Will not stop scanning even when signals are picked up.

B1S:
The scan stops regardless of a signal by all means, and will resume scanning after 1 second.
B2S:
The scan stops regardless of a signal by all means, and will resume scanning after 2 seconds.
B3S:
The scan stops regardless of a signal by all means, and will resume scanning after 3 seconds.
B5S:
The scan stops regardless of a signal by all means, and will resume scanning after 5 seconds.
