Changing the Engine Oil Filter
See the operating manual of the engine manufacturer.
- Drain the engine oil.
- Unscrew the air filter cartridge (1) with a filter wrench.
ATTENTION
Observe the instructions on handling fuels
and lubricants.
- Clean the mating surface of the filter mount.
- Screw a new air filter cartridge with a new seal in the
filter mount until the seal makes contact.
- Tighten the air filter cartridge half a turn.
- Top up engine oil. Check the oil level.
Checking Hose Couplings for Leaks
- Check all hose couplings for leaks; use leakage
spray, if necessary. Eliminate any leaks immediately.
