Preferences
Use the Preferences dialog box to select which Toolbox messages
appear. You can specify whether you want to be notified by an audio
alert when an error occurs, as well as the types of error messages you
want to see, such as those messages about media and hardware.
Information
Use the Information tab to register the printer and gain access to help
information for using the printer, troubleshooting, and contacting
HP support. If the printer is connected to a network, you can also gain
access to myPrintMileage and hp instant support, and you can display
printer hardware and ink cartridge health information. You can also
display the embedded Web server by clicking Launch.
Printer Information

To learn more about your printing patterns, such as the types and
sizes of print jobs, ink cartridge usage, and media usage, click
myPrintMileage. This information is also available through the
embedded Web server.

To display information about the condition of each printhead, click
Printhead Health.
z
To display hardware information such as the printer model number
and service ID number, click Printer Hardware.

customized problem-solving information and tips, click hp instant
