5.1 Regular Maintenance Program
● The regular maintenance program is to be conducted by the user is described below. To keep
the machine in optimum condition, be sure to perform the regular maintenance shown in the
table below.
● In addition to the regular maintenance program set forth below, a semi-annual maintenance
program by a qualified service engineer is available (at a reasonable charge). It is recommended
that you consult your local dealer and sign a contract for periodic maintenance.

(1) The water in the water bottle must be replaced at one-week intervals or when "Warning Change
Water" appears. The fresher the water, the higher the print quality. Early replacement is
therefore recommended.
(2) The side air fillers should be replaced by a service engineer at the time of the semi-annual
maintenance in the case of a periodic maintenance agreement. However, if the machine is
operated in a dirty or dusty environment, the filters should be replaced at more frequent intervals.
(3) When washed, dry the air filters thoroughly before installing them.
● If the machine is operated in a dirty environment, conduct periodic maintenance every
three months.
(4) The water filter must be replaced when this is prompted by a message and the alarm sounds.
The "Change Water Filter" message appears often about 500 A3-size prints have been made
or when six months has elapsed since the last water filter replacement.
(5) Use the scanner cleaner if white stripes appear on prints.
