Setting units
Press  for selection menus.
Select using [ ˆ ] and [OK]: Service Set up → Settings → System settings →
Cost/duration .
Enter the PIN and confirm with [OK].
Select using [ ˆ ] and [OK]: Access type .
Select using [ ˆ ] and [OK]: Units/Costs .
If the calculation type "Price per unit:" was active when the units were set, a
prompt is displayed.
Confirm the prompt for accounting method with [YES].
All accounts are reset and the option is highlighted.
Displaying a cost overview
Depending on the setting, call or charge units are displayed for each internal
subscriber, for each configured MSN, and for the system as a whole.
Press  for selection menus.
Select using [ ˆ ] and [OK]: Service Set up → Settings → System settings →
Cost/duration .
Enter the PIN and confirm with [OK].
Select using [ ˆ ] and [OK]: Cost overview .
The accounts for each internal subscriber and for each configured MSN are dis-
played. The total amount is shown at the start and at the end of the list.
Deleting the cost overview total
You are in the cost overview display:
Select using [ ˆ ] and [ ' ]: (required cost overview) .
Select using [ ˆ ] and [OK]: Delete amount .
Totalled and individual costs must be deleted separately. This means that if you
delete an MSN total for example, the individual charges incurred remain stored
in the handset and must be deleted individually.
Call by Call
With this procedure you can switch to other providers for individual calls, thus
keeping call costs to a minimum. This simple procedure is explained in more
detail in the operating instructions for Gigaset 3000 Comfort.
