Press and hold the MDE button
and rotate the Main-Command
dial until M appears in the
Camera Status LCD panel and
viewfinder.

Remove your finger from the
MDE button and rotate the
Main-Command dial to set the
desired shutter speed.
Refer to the “Operating in
Shutter-Priority Auto Exposure
Mode” section on page 6-18 for
shutter speed indications and
sequence.
