Chapter 8

8.2 Volume Control

If the volume from the far-end is either too faint or too loud, you can adjust it with
the VOLUME buttons on the hand held remote.

8.2.1 Increase the volume

① Press the VOLUME UP button.

The volume bar appears on the monitor to show you the volume level. We
recommend that you do not use the volume control on your monitor to adjust the
volume because this may interfere with your ability to adjust the volume with the
hand held remote. Also, if the volume of the monitor is too high or too low, the
people at the far-end may hear echo. In general, leave the monitor volume level
set to about middle position. If the far-end does hear echoes, turn the near-end
monitor volume down until the echo disappears.

8.2.2 Decrease the volume

① Press the VOLUME DOWN button.
