Chapter 6 About Calling
In this chapter you will learn to make and receive calls. The Dialing Directory is
a phone book that you create, listing the names and phone numbers of the sites that
you can call. Once you have entered these names and numbers into the Dialing
Directory, you can call a site by either Directory dialing or speed dialing. The final
section is how to receive a call on your VisuaLink.
6.1 Place a Manual
Call
You can manually dial a call by pressing the buttons on the handheld remote the
same way you dial a telephone.
① To manually dial a call, press the CALL button.
Note: With video calls, you may have to enter two (2) telephone numbers instead
of one due to the ISDN BRI network connections often consist of two (2)
lines within one ISDN cable.
➁ Make sure the is pointing at PLACE MANUAL DIAL CALL. Press the
ENTER button.
