The following table describes the labels in this screen.

16.3 Pre-defined NTP Time Servers List

The ZyWALL uses the following pre-defined list of NTP time servers if you do not specify a
time server or it cannot synchronize with the time server you specified.

Note: When you turn on the ZyWALL, the date and time start at 2000-01-01 00:00:00.

The ZyWALL then attempts to synchronize with a time server.

The ZyWALL can use this pre-defined list of time servers regardless of the
Time Protocol you select.

When the ZyWALL uses the pre-defined list of NTP time servers, it randomly selects one
server and tries to synchronize with it. If the synchronization fails, then the ZyWALL goes
through the rest of the list in order from the first one tried until either it is successful or all the
pre-defined NTP time servers have been tried.

Old Password

Type the default password or the existing password you use to access the system

in this field.

New Password

Type your new system password (up to 30 characters). Note that as you type a

password, the screen displays a (*) for each character you type.

Retype to Confirm

Type the new password again for confirmation.

Apply

Click Apply to save your changes back to the ZyWALL.

Reset

Click Reset to begin configuring this screen afresh.
