the Identifying Information, Key Options, Web Templates, Intended Pur-
pose, and Info settings.
Using ConfigFree™
ConfigFree is a suite of utilities used to set up a network, and includes the
following utilities:
•
Search for Wireless Devices
• Connectivity Doctor
• Profiles Settings
To launch the above utilities, tap , Program, ConfigFree.
ConfigFree Launcher resides as an icon in the Command bar at the bot-
tom of the Today Screen, and includes shortcuts to all of the ConfigFree
utilities.
Search for Wireless Devices
Search for Wireless Devices displays nearby active IEEE 802.11b access
points and Bluetooth devices.
•
IEEE 802.11b access points—You can make a network connection by
tapping the access point icon and dragging to the center of your
Toshiba Pocket PC e830W icon.
• Bluetooth devices—You can launch Bluetooth Settings to register a
selected Bluetooth device by tapping the Bluetooth device icon and
dragging to the center of your Toshiba Pocket PC e830W icon.
