Attaching the Main Battery Pack
The following procedure details how to attach the Main Battery Pack. To
detach the Main Battery Pack, follow the procedure in reverse order.
1.
Turn off the power.
2.
Switch the Battery Pack Lock to release the battery pack.
3.
Attach the Main Battery Pack to your Toshiba Pocket PC e830.
4.
Switch the Battery Pack Lock to lock the Main Battery Pack.
You cannot turn on the power if the Battery Pack Lock is
in the release position.
You can change the main battery without data loss
because your Toshiba Pocket PC e830 has a recharge-
able backup battery. However, the capacity of the backup
battery is limited, therefore when you change the main
battery, attach the new Main Battery Pack and switch the
Battery Pack Lock to the lock side as soon as possible.
