Calling an IP phone
1. Tap a buddy on your buddy list.
2. Tap Call.
Answering a call automatically
You can configure TOSHIBA IP Phone to automatically answer a call. To
enable automatic answer, tap Tools, Options, and check Automatic
Answer. Enabling the Automatic Answering features allows your calling
party to record a voice message (up to 20 seconds). Ten seconds after a
call is received, TOSHIBA IP Phone answers and then sends a reply mes-
sage to the calling party.
Placing a call on hold
1. Tap Voice, then Hold.
2. To continue your call, tap Voice, then Hold.
Even while TOSHIBA IP Phone is automatically answer-
ing (or your calling party is recording) a message, you can
cancel the message and talk with your calling party by
tapping Hangup. During an automatic answering session,
TOSHIBA IP Phone displays the recording state and
recording time on the LCD.
