Carry strap

Securing the carry strap

A carry strap with attachment is optionally available. To attach the holder, replace the
screwed-on belt clip by the carrying strap attachment. Carry straps are optionally available.

USB and external charging socket

Mini USB connection

There is a mini USB socket (2.0) in the bottom right-hand corner. It has two functions.

As an interface for connection with a PC, for instance for loading data to or from the device. If
the phone is connected with a PC, the battery is loaded at the same time. However the
charging process is slower than when the phone is charged in the charging bay.

As a connection socket for a USB charging bay, for instance for charging the phone. Here,
too, the charging process is slower compared with charging in the charging bay.

Use a screened USB cable only.

The opening of the USB connection is closed with a captive cover. If the USB cable is not in use,
please close the opening so the device can be used in accordance with its protection class..

Remove the cover by pulling it at the top edge of the housing. Never pull it at the bottom edge!
