Alphanumeric keypad
The keys of the alphanumeric keypad are used to enter numerals
(<0...9>), letters (<A...Z>) and characters (<- .>). The keys of the alpha-
numeric keypad only have a function if the ProLab 4000 is waiting for a
character to be entered, e.g. in input fields for the ID during manual
storage.

The numeral is displayed in the input field

Press the key several times if necessary
until the required letter is displayed in the
input field

Depending on the input field, the keys is
automatically interpreted as a minus sign
or decimal point.
Numeral input field:
Cursor is in front of the first digit: Minus.
Cursor is behind a numeral: Decimal point
<DEL>
Deletes the character left of the cursor
