3.7.1 RS232 interface (serial port)
PC and printer can be connected via the RS232 interface.
Data that is transmitted to the interface with <PRINT> can be printed
out with a printer or received with a terminal program if a PC is con-
nected.
Operation with RS232 Connect the interface of the ProLab 4000 to the devices using the Z390
(PC) or Z893 (external USB printer Z890) cable.
Set up the following transmission data on the PC/printer:
Baud rate selectable between: 1200 ... 115200
The baud rate must agree with the baud rate set on
the PC/printer.
Handshake RTS/CTS
PC only:
Parity none
Data bits 8
Stop bits 1
