Use compressed non-asbestos fiber gaskets, PTFE-
sheathed non-asbestos gaskets or gaskets which have
equivalent elasticity.
For optional codes GA, GC, and GD, use rubber gaskets
or others which have equivalent elasticity (such as Teflon-
coated rubber gaskets).
Gaskets Size
Be sure to choose a gasket with an inner and outer
diameter that does not protrude inside the piping (refer to
Table 3.3.13).
If the inner diameter of the gasket is too large, or outer
diameter of the gasket is too small, fluid leakage may
result.
