Create Pairs wizard
Use this wizard to create pairs and to specify new pair details.
This wizard includes the following windows:

“Select Pair Configuration window” (page 127)
•
“Select Primary Volumes window” (page 128)
•
“Select Secondary Volumes window” (page 130)
•
“Confirm window” (page 133)

Select Pair Configuration window
Use this window of the Create Pairs wizard to configure the pairs you plan create.

The copy type. Copy Type
Values:
•
Business Copy
• Business Copy for Mainframe
•
Fast Snap
Default: Business Copy for Mainframe
BC and BC Z only. Emulation Type
The emulation type.
BC Z and FS only. Number of Secondary Volumes
The total number of S-VOL assigned to the P-VOL.
This value includes the volumes for pairs that you are creating, volumes in existing
pairs.
Default: 1
BC Z only. Initial MU Number
The initial MU number.
