Reserving consistency groups
If you plan to use CGs in BCM/IBM PPRC, use RWC to reserve the CGs, which includes specifying
the CTG ID.
1.
In the RWC main window, in the resource tree, click Replications > Local Replication >
Consistency Groups.
2. On the Consistency Groups tab, click Reserve Mainframe CTGs.
3. In the Reserve Mainframe CTGs window of the Reserve Mainframe CTGs wizard, from the
Available Consistency Groups table, select the CG you want to reserve and then click Add.
The CG is moved to the Selected Consistency Groups table.
4. Click Finish.
