Modifying Hosts
To modify an existing host:
Note: The Operating System field is disabled if a host has assigned paths.
1. In the Provisioning tab, select a host listed in the Navigation pane.
2. Click Modify on the toolbar.
A window opens to step you through the process to modify the selected host’s
information.
3. Enter the new host name and other information.
4. Click Next.
5. Select a host group from the list.
To remove the selected host from a host group, hold down the Control key
(Ctrl) and click the left mouse button.
6. Click Finish to complete the modifications or Cancel to stop.
When you click Finish, the modifications display in the Navigation pane.
Deleting Hosts
To delete a host:
Note: Before you delete a host, you must remove all assigned paths. Otherwise, a
message window reminds you that you must remove the paths.
1. In the Provisioning tab, select a host listed in the Navigation pane.
2. Click Delete on the toolbar.
A confirmation window displays.
