3. Select Yes at the bottom of the confirmation window.
The storage utility is removed and is no longer managed by Storage Provisioner.
About Storage Systems
Storage systems are storage arrays using either HSG-based storage systems or
HSV-based storage systems. With Storage Provisioner, you can discover and
manage storage systems to meet your customer’s storage requirements. Storage
systems are assigned to utilities for management by Storage Provisioner.
Unmanaged storage systems are those storage systems that are a part of your
SAN, but are not currently managed by Storage Provisioner. For storage systems,
you can:
■ View existing storage system information.
■ Discover new storage systems or discover a single storage system.
■ Manage and Unmanage storage systems.
■ Modify storage systems.
■ Remove storage systems from Storage Provisioner.
■ Replace a storage system controller.
Note: Storage Provisioner cannot manage a storage system with an invalid
configuration. If the following conditions are met, then an invalid storage system exists:
– The system is unmanaged and is not in FABRIC mode.
– The system does not have dual-redundant controllers configured.
Viewing Storage Systems
Storage Provisioner manages both HSG80 storage systems and HSV storage
systems.
To view storage systems:
1. In the Storage Utilities tab, select a storage system displayed in the
Navigation pane.
A storage system is identified by the following icon:
