Accessing Volumes
To access a volume for allocation:
Note: Before a storage customer can access volumes, you must set the allocation quota
using the Storage Utilities tab. Then, the storage customer can create a host, path, and
volume.
1. In the Provisioning tab, select a volume listed in the Volumes Navigation
pane.
When you select a volume, the Access button becomes active.

2. Click Access on the toolbar.
3. Select the host paths from the displayed list.

Note: A warning message may display if you allow multiple hosts to write to the same
volume. When you click Yes, you enable this configuration. When you click No, you
cancel this request.
■ HSV-based storage systems: The host is removed if there are no volumes
assigned to it.
