About Customer Volumes

Volumes are a collection of raw storage blocks that contain data that is read and
written to by host applications. The amount and type of storage is determined by
the service level agreement between the storage provider and the storage
consumer. Volumes are assigned by the storage customer to allocate the
appropriate amount and type of storage needed by the host applications. With
customer volumes, you can:

View customer volume information.

Manage unmanaged volumes (migrate a volume into Storage Provisioner).

Modify customer volumes.

Delete customer volumes.
