About the Diagnostic Logs
The Diagnostic log files display two types of information:
■ Messages – Displays the status of an issued command. For example, if you
selected Refresh from the Session pane, a message displays in the messages
log that states “Refresh started.”
■ Command log – Displays the code sent to the storage system for an issued
command.
If your storage system is experiencing problems, the diagnostic logs can help the
support engineers to understand the problem.
Viewing Diagnostic Logs
To view diagnostic log information:
1. From the Admin tab, select View.
2. Select the type of diagnostic messages to view from the pull-down list.

When you select a type of diagnostic message and press Enter, the content
changes to display those types of messages.
