Your storage system is highlighted and the Content pane changes to display details
about the selected storage system.
Discovering New Storage Systems
To discover new storage systems within your SAN:
Note: Depending upon the size of your SAN, the discovery process can take a long
time to complete. Be sure that you are ready to perform the discovery. Also, after you
start the discovery process, let the discovery complete. If you cancel or abort the
discovery, unfavorable results could occur.
1. Select the Storage Utilities tab.
If this is the first time using or setting up Storage Provisioner, there are no
storage systems currently managed by Storage Provisioner. Therefore, the
Storage Utilities and Customers and LUNs Navigation panes are blank.

2. Click Discover on the toolbar.
When you click Discover, a window opens to continue the action since the
discovery of storage systems can take a long time depending upon the size of
the SAN.
