Perform the following commands to enable TX Power Control and set the transmit power level:

Set WEP Encryption for the Wireless Interface

!

CAUTION

Wireless clients must be configured with the same encryption key to be able to communicate with the AP. The
AP can only support one Key Length (so each of the configured keys must have the same length). The
available key sizes vary based on the Access Point’s model. See

Security Encryption Key Length Table

for

more information.

You can set up to four encryption keys. This example describes setting encryption Key 1 on the wireless card in Slot A
(if applicable; a Single-radio AP uses index 3; a Dual-radio AP uses index 3 for Slot A and index 4 for Slot B).

[Device-Name]>set wifsec 3 encryptstatus enable encryptkey1 <WEP key

(number of characters

vary depending on AP model)> encryptkeytx key1

[Device-Name]>show wifsec
