Field

Free shows only unreserved consistency groups.

Used shows only the consistency groups that are currently used (meaning those
with registered pairs).

CTG list

CTG: Consistency group number

Group Status: Shows one of the following consistency group statuses:

- Used (RAID Manager): Consistency group is used and managed with RAID
Manager.

- Used (PPRC/BCM): Consistency group is used and managed with PPRC or BCM.

- Reserved: Consistency group is reserved.

- Free: Consistency group is not being used and is not reserved.

- Open: Consistency group is used by an OPEN pair.

Code: The error code when a consistency group operation fails.

Commits an operation to the storage system.

Apply

Cancels any ongoing operation.

CTG command menu

A command menu appears when you right-click a consistency group in the CTG list, as shown
below.

Description

Command

For reserving a free consistency group. The command is dimmed if the consistency group
is used or reserved.

Add CT Group

For changing the status of a reserved consistency group to Free. The command is dimmed
if the consistency group is already Free.

Delete CT Group

For displaying pair information for pairs in the selected group; opens the CT Group Status
dialog box. The command is dimmed if the consistency group is already Reserved or
Free.

CT Group Status

For displaying error information of a failed consistency group operation. If an error does
not exist, the command is dimmed.
