Description

Item

Port - GID – LUN (LDKC number: CU number: LDEV number) of the selected volume. The following
symbols might appear at the end of the LDEV number:

Volume

# (e.g., 00:00:3C #): Indicates the volume is an external volume. For details on external
volumes, see HP P9000 External Storage for Open and Mainframe Systems User Guide.

X (e.g., 00:00:3C X): Indicates the volume is a Thin Provisioning virtual volume. For details on
virtual volumes, see HP P9000 Provisioning for Open Systems User Guide.

Delete Pair by
Force

Yes: The pair(s) will be released even if the storage system on the P-VOL side cannot
communicate with the storage system on the S-VOL side. This option may be used to free a host
waiting for a response from the storage system on the P-VOL side, thus allowing host operations
to continue.

No: The pair(s) will only be released if the storage system on the P-VOL side can change the
pair status of the P-VOL and S-VOL to SMPL.

When the status of the pair(s) to be released is SMPL, the default setting is Yes (cannot be changed).
Otherwise, the default setting is No.
