Applying changes to CFL-based spreadsheets in LUN Manager

Use this procedure to apply the changes you made to the settings in the spreadsheet to the system.
You must import the spreadsheet without errors and the spreadsheet status must be “Ready” before
you can apply the changes.

All changes are applied except when one of the following conditions is present:

since you have made not changes to the spreadsheet, the spreadsheet is not applied to the

account who logs in to RWC.

Errors when applying spreadsheets in LUN Manager

When you use CFL to apply the volume settings and an error occurs, the settings are applied
normally. If necessary, you can reset the volume settings where the error is displayed. You can
view the status of the spreadsheet in the bottom right of the Error Information list in CFL.

If the volumes where you apply the settings are valid for one of the following conditions, an error
message is displayed. Check the following settings or make changes to the configuration as
appropriate:

LDEVs that are not mapped to physical devices and are therefore undefined

Volume usable by open-systems (except multiplatform volumes)

Journal volumes

Compatible FlashCopy V2 volumes

System Disk volumes

LDEVs that are configured as command devices

The case of which the software application has not been installed (except when you change
the access attribute to Read/Write)

Volumes whose emulation types are 3390-V

Volumes that are comprised of a pool

Volumes for Compatible Software for IBM® FlashCopy® SE

Volumes for Mainframe Fibre Data Migration
