The following example shows errors when the parameters are in a hierarchical structure:

To identify where an error occurred in a hierarchical structure, find the last row with an error.
In this example, an error occurred in the second layer that begins with +,.

Parameters in the layers lower than the error are not verified. After you correct the visible
errors, execute the CFLCHK command again to finish processing the rest of the spreadsheet.

Running CLI-based spreadsheets in Continuous Access Journal Z

After you edit and validate the spreadsheet, the spreadsheet has a status of “Ready” and is ready
to run. Use the following CLI commands to run spreadsheets:

CFLSET

- to change system settings or perform an operation.

CFLGET

- to retrieve system information to a file.

Making configuration changes in Continuous Access Journal Z

Run CFLSET to change the configuration settings you have altered in the spreadsheet, or to do
other tasks. The system generates a results file when you run CFLSET, so you can check whether
or not the operation completed successfully.
1.

At a command prompt, change directories to the location of the spreadsheet file.

2.

(For Windows) Execute the following command:

CFLSET input-file-name output-file-name

where:

Description

Operand

The spreadsheet you want to verify. Include the relative or absolute path.

input-file-name

Character limit: 240

The output file name. Include the relative or absolute path.

output-file-name

Character limit: 240

For example:

CFLCHK LUSE_ReleaseOp.spd LUSE_ReleaseOp_Result.spd

NOTE:

For UNIX, execute the following command:

CFLCHK.sh

3.

Check the results file to verify that the operation completed successfully. If the operation did
not finish successfully, troubleshoot the error.
