Notes:

1.

Though the smaller the number the higher the priority, when you are add many pairs at a time, specifying the Priority parameter
may not be enough to manage the priority of adding pairs operation. To ensure the pairs are added by priority, it is
recommended that you separate the spreadsheets for high priority pairs and other pairs.

2.

The XP24000/XP20000 Disk Array option for this field, Group, is also available. The setting is the same whether you specify
Mirror or Group. Mirror is recommended.

NOTE:

You can use a spreadsheet to add a Cnt Ac-J Z pair for delta resync operation.

Best Practice: Use Business Continuity Manager to add a Cnt Ac-J Z pair.

Suspending Continuous Access Journal Z pairs

Use the RemoteCopyJournalMF_SuspendPair_def_.spd spreadsheet template to suspend
Cnt Ac-J Z pairs. You can use the output from the Get Pair operation in this spreadsheet. Suspend
pairs on the primary or secondary system.

NOTE:

The pair must be in “Pending” or “Duplex” status before you can suspend the pair.

To suspend a pair, execute the following command:

[SuspendPair]

The output is saved to a file.

Example [SuspendPair] spreadsheet:

#!Version 06_01_00,CLI_RemoteCopyJournalMF,PairOperation,;

[SuspendPair]

#LDKC,CU,LDEV,MirrorID,VolType,LDKC(Pair),DKCSN,Range,S-VOLWrite,SuspendMode

00,00,00,00,P-VOL,00,22222,Mirror,Disable,Flush,;

To suspend the pairs in a mirror (by specifying Mirror as the Range parameter), specify any Cnt
Ac-J Z pair in the mirror. This suspends all of the pairs.
