The MICROMV cassette automatically records the recording settings and date. When
you insert a cassette with the POWER switch set to CAMERA or set the POWER switch
to VCR, the cassette information is automatically displayed for about five seconds.

The cassette information

[a] The unique number of each cassette. The camcorder automatically assign this

number.

[b] The cassette title set by the TAPE TITLE item in the menu settings (Cassette label).
[c] The first-recorded date in this cassette.
[d] The last-recorded date in this cassette.
[e] The recorded area is indicated by the white bar.

Recorded areas
A blank portion between recorded area is also indicated as a recorded area.

Cassette information
You can turn off the cassette information using the q INFODSPL item in

in the

menu settings.

When is flashing
Remove the cassette and insert it again. If the message is still displayed, the Micro
Cassette Memory may be corrupted. Replace the cassette with another cassette.
