Meaning

To suit your specific shooting requirement.

To add special effects like those in films or on the TV
to images (p. 61, 75).

To make the flash level higher than normal.

To use the normal setting.

To make the flash level lower than normal.

To adjust the white balance (p. 54).

To use the NightShot Light function (p. 38).

To cancel the NightShot Light function.

To automatically activate the electronic shutter when
shooting in bright conditions.

To not automatically activate the electronic shutter
even when shooting in bright conditions.
